Four colors carry the whole CultureTechLens identity: Deep Bronze, Black, Bone, and Red. Black and Bone do most of the visual work; Bronze is spent sparingly on borders, highlights, and key branding; Red is the accent. Finalized in Brand Kit v1, founder-selected September 30, 2026.

The four colors

Deep Bronze

#8A5A2B

RGB 138, 90, 43

Heritage accent. Borders, highlights, key branding. Spend it sparingly — scarcity is what makes it read as precious.

Black

#080808

RGB 8, 8, 8

The foundation. Page backgrounds, the night the bronze is struck against. Carries the archive's gravity.

Bone

#E8E0D2

RGB 232, 224, 210

Light surface and primary text on dark. Warm, archival — paper, not hospital white.

Red

#A51C30

RGB 165, 28, 48

The accent. Calls to action, the focal dot in the lens-ring mark, moments that need heat. Never a background.

Rules

  • Black and Bone do the work. Every layout should read clearly in just these two.
  • Bronze is precious. Borders, rules, highlights, the mark — never fills, never gradients-for-decoration.
  • Red means act. Reserve it for the thing the eye should find first: donate buttons, the focal dot, urgent flags.
  • Contrast is a promise. Bone on Black and Black on Bone clear WCAG AA at body size; Bronze Soft on Black clears it for large text and links. Never set body copy in Bronze or Red on Black.
  • Photography leads. Color frames the archive's real photography; it never substitutes for it.
