Does anyone use it?
An honest accounting of what CultureTechLens has built, who it is reaching, and what is still ahead. Updated October 7, 2026.
The archive
- 2,822 entities, 4,500 relationships in the Black Cultural Knowledge Graph — people, places, organizations, churches, businesses, events, works. Every record carries its evidence grade. 1,100 entities are research-complete: ten or more graded claims, every claim with named evidence.
- 14 flagship research packages, 25 research briefs, 9 research dossiers — all with graded claim ledgers.
- 4 investigations with full source lists and citation blocks.
- 4 scholarly deposits on Zenodo (open access, CC BY 4.0), each with a DOI.
- 3 open repositories on GitHub (CC BY 4.0 / MIT) — the index pipeline, the research corpus, the knowledge graph.
The audience
- YouTube: 40 Shorts published — the Black music canon, with trilingual subtitles.
- Site: live since September 28, 2026.
- First organic reuse: October 4, 2026 — an independent music blog reblogged CTL's Chicago house music history. Not a citation yet. A start.
The honest gap
No editorial citation yet. No syllabus, no Wikipedia reference, no newsroom attribution. That is the number we are working on — it is the focus of our October 7 through November 6 adoption test.
This page will change when that changes. The first independent citation gets named here.
The invitation
If you cite CTL's research — in a classroom, a newsroom, a paper, a set of liner notes — tell us: [email protected]. We will add you to this page and to the public citation ledger.
Culture deserves more than attention. It deserves memory. Help us prove it.

The people, places, and institutions this work documents. Photographs from the CultureTechLens research record — rights-cleared, credited, and cited like everything else here.

Trust & evidence
Evidence before authority. CultureTechLens publishes its methods, its limits, and its corrections alongside its findings. Claims carry grades — VERIFIED, SUPPORTED, PROVISIONAL, DISPUTED, UNRESOLVED — and unknowns are never reported as zero.
Every claim graded. Every source named. Every correction public — see the corrections log.
