Black-owned record wholesaler and retailer on Michigan Avenue; George Daniels started managing a Black-owned wholesale record store in 1968 and assumed ownership in 1969, renaming it George's Music Room. Survived bankruptcy and evictions; founded the National United Independent Retailers; later operated a Midway Airport branch.
