Phuture / "Acid Tracks"

Phuture (Nathan "DJ Pierre" Jones, Earl "Spanky" Smith Jr., Herbert "Herb J" Jackson) created the squelching TB-303 track; Ron Hardy broke it at the Music Box (the four-plays-in-one-night story); released on Trax in 1987 as "Acid Tracks," widely considered the first acid house record.
