National Negro Labor Council

Early-1950s civil-rights organization, one of the most important of its era, driven out of existence by anti-communist pressure. Forty-one volumes (over 8,000 pages) of its FBI headquarters main file were destroyed in the 2013 Alexandria archives flood.
