Notes

Staged 2026-10-16 under CTL-GOV-006 (Fill 500 Lists Wave 4, Tier 1 — 747 Program). Gate A (2026-10-16): no Cheryl Burton entity in the live graph at 3,409 entities (exact/normalized/alias + token containment); ID CTL-E-5712 free. Supply: 747 Supply Ledger, Fill 500 Comedians gap #18 — a television news anchor on the mixed civic list, stated openly. Vital status: LIVING — verified by her continuing WLS-TV anchor role and no death report in any source consulted. Source-family note, stated openly: the career spine rests on The HistoryMakers, an authoritative oral-history archive whose biography is the subject's own reviewed account; the tier is carried as Verified on that authoritative record, and the packet invites a second independent institutional source at enrichment. Conflict shown, not blended: low-weight biography pages give conflicting career Emmy counts (13, 15, and 17 appear); NO count is printed anywhere in this record — The HistoryMakers says only “several Emmy Awards,” and the description follows it. STATISTICS (sourced, dated): WLS-TV tenure from November 1992; 2003 promotion to 5 p.m. co-anchor — The HistoryMakers, accessed 2026-10-16. MEDIA: photo HELD (candidate named in the packet); chart FILLED; video HELD; audio HELD. Blocked edges documented in the packet: WGN-TV, WMBD, KWCH (no graph entities); Lindblom Technical High School (no graph entity for the alumnus edge). PARENT RE-TIER 2026-10-16: staged Verified on a single source (The HistoryMakers); GOV-006 source floor caps a one-source record at Provisional regardless of source quality. Re-tiered Provisional at parent verification; upgrade path = one further independent institutional source. MEDIA LAYER (staged 2026-10-16; full per-asset PHOTO-001 records + embed specs in the packet's staged JSON, Drive packet folder): map = N/A (Persons receive no maps (media-layer rule carried from the CULTGRAPH packets).) | visual_assets = HELD: No Commons file page could be read at file-page level in this pass, so the slot is HELD rather than cleared on | chart = FILLED (Built only from this record's own sourced, dated facts; data table printed in the packet.) | video = HELD (No CTL Short for this subject — checked against the CTL Shorts Link Map catalog (2026-10-15) by full name and ) | audio = HELD (No matching-entity audio with a verified rights basis located in this pass (no CTL-owned audio; third-party st)
