Notes

Staged 2026-10-16 under CTL-GOV-006 (Census Intake Wave 4 — 747 Program, Wave 10; 40-record packet). Gate A (2026-10-16): no Albert Pujols entity in the live graph at 3,683 entities (exact / normalized / alias + token containment); ID CTL-E-5982 assigned at assembly. Supply: 747 Supply Ledger, Tier 3 — Famous Birthdays ABSENT census, readiness rank 1114 (Baseball Players list). The census supplied the NAME ONLY; no fact in this record is sourced to it (CTL-GOV-004). SCOPE GATE: PASS — Afro-Dominican (PROVISIONAL) — Dominican-born (Santo Domingo) player documented as the defining Dominican and Latino slugger of his era (NPR; Latino Sports, nine-time LatinoMVP). GAP: sources retrieved in this pass document his Dominican/Latino identity, not his African descent individually, and no self-identification on that point was found; tier held at Provisional until one is filed. Vital status: LIVING — photographed at his St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame plaque ceremony on 12 September 2026 (Sports Illustrated); active in October 2026 as an Angels special assistant and a discussed candidate for MLB managerial openings. STATISTICS (sourced, dated): Career (WBC/Latino Sports): .296 average, 3,384 hits, 703 HR (4th all-time), 2,218 RBI (2nd all-time), 686 doubles; 3× NL MVP; World Series champion 2006 and 2011; retired 2022. MEDIA: photo HELD (candidate: Wikimedia Commons portrait of Pujols in a Cardinals uniform; no file page read at file-page level — CTL-PHOTO-001; CTL-created graphic is the standing alternative); chart FILLED (charts/chart-ctl-e-5982-albert-pujols.svg); video HELD (Shorts Link Map checked — no matching CTL Short); audio HELD (no rights basis). Coordinator verification pass (2026-10-16): one additional targeted search for individual-level Afro-Latino / African-descent documentation was run at assembly for this record; no citable individual-level source was found, so the Provisional cap and the named gap stand, pending a sourced document or a founder scope ruling (precedent: Romeo Santos, Census Intake Wave 3). MEDIA LAYER (staged 2026-10-16; full per-asset PHOTO-001 records + embed specs in the packet's staged JSON, Drive packet folder): map = N/A (Person records carry no map slot under the media-layer rule; maps attach to places and institutions.) | visual_assets = HELD: | chart = FILLED (CTL-created SVG (black / deep red / gold) built only from this record's sourced facts) | video = HELD (No matching-entity CTL Short in the Shorts Link Map catalog (checked by name and variants), and no official/em) | audio = HELD (No CTL-owned or rights-cleared matching-entity audio at staging; the subject's own recordings/appearances are )
