Notes
Staged 2026-10-16 under CTL-GOV-006 (Census Intake Wave 4 — 747 Program, Wave 10; 40-record packet). Gate A (2026-10-16): no Manny Machado entity in the live graph at 3,683 entities (exact / normalized / alias + token containment); ID CTL-E-5984 assigned at assembly. Supply: 747 Supply Ledger, Tier 3 — Famous Birthdays ABSENT census, readiness rank 1116 (Baseball Players list). The census supplied the NAME ONLY; no fact in this record is sourced to it (CTL-GOV-004). SCOPE GATE: PASS WITH GAP NAMED — Dominican-American third baseman; son of Dominican parents Manuel and Rosa Machado, with his own sourced statement of Dominican identity (ESPN, 2016), staged within CTL's Afro-Latino / Dominican diaspora scope. GAP NAMED: three search passes located no standard source applying the label Afro-Latino or Afro-Dominican to Machado individually; Dominican descent is documented, African descent is not separately documented for the subject in the sources found. Record is therefore staged Provisional pending a sourced Afro-Latino documentation or a founder scope ruling (precedent: Romeo Santos staged in Wave 3 under a founder diaspora-scope ruling). Vital status: LIVING — San Diego Padres third baseman in late-September and October 2026 lineups, leading the club with 30 home runs and 91 RBIs in 2026 (Sportradar; Wikipedia statistics through the 2026 season). STATISTICS (sourced, dated): Through the 2026 season: .274 career average, 2,197 hits, 399 home runs and 1,235 RBIs; 2,000th career hit on 7 July 2025 (Wikipedia; Yardbarker/AP) — accessed 2026-10-16. MEDIA: photo HELD (candidate: San Diego Padres / MLB press photography of Machado at Petco Park; no file page read at file-page level — CTL-PHOTO-001; CTL-created graphic is the standing alternative); chart FILLED (charts/chart-ctl-e-5984-manny-machado.svg); video HELD (Shorts Link Map checked — no matching CTL Short); audio HELD (no rights basis). Coordinator verification pass (2026-10-16): one additional targeted search for individual-level Afro-Latino / African-descent documentation was run at assembly for this record; no citable individual-level source was found, so the Provisional cap and the named gap stand, pending a sourced document or a founder scope ruling (precedent: Romeo Santos, Census Intake Wave 3). MEDIA LAYER (staged 2026-10-16; full per-asset PHOTO-001 records + embed specs in the packet's staged JSON, Drive packet folder): map = N/A (Person records carry no map slot under the media-layer rule; maps attach to places and institutions.) | visual_assets = HELD: | chart = FILLED (CTL-created SVG (black / deep red / gold) built only from this record's sourced facts) | video = HELD (No matching-entity CTL Short in the Shorts Link Map catalog (checked by name and variants), and no official/em) | audio = HELD (No CTL-owned or rights-cleared matching-entity audio at staging; the subject's own recordings/appearances are )
