Devin Haney, born Devin Miles Haney on 17 November 1998 in San Francisco, California, is an American professional boxer who has won world championships in three weight classes. Raised in Oakland and Las Vegas and trained by his father, Bill Haney, he turned professional at seventeen in Mexico because he was too young to be licensed in the United States. He won the WBC lightweight title in 2019 and became the undisputed lightweight champion in 2022 by defeating George Kambosos Jr. in Australia, then defended that status in a rematch and against Vasiliy Lomachenko. Moving up, he took the WBC super lightweight title from Regis Prograis in December 2023. After his April 2024 fight with Ryan Garcia was ruled a no contest, Haney won the WBO welterweight title from Brian Norman Jr. in November 2025, and in October 2026 he remained champion while a proposed superfight with Shakur Stevenson stalled over weight terms.
