Combined Graph record U-07855 · provenance: build store (JSON graph), record CTL-E-6983.

Booker T. Huffman Jr. (born March 1, 1965), billed as Booker T, is the most decorated wrestler in WCW history, with twenty-one championship reigns in that promotion by WWE's count. WWE presents him as a Houston performer, though published birthplaces conflict between Houston and Plain Dealing, Louisiana, and no hard birthplace is asserted here. With his brother Stevie Ray (Lash Huffman) he formed Harlem Heat, whose ten WCW World Tag Team Championship reigns stand as the team's record in the WCW title history. Booker T is a six-time world champion — five WCW reigns and one WWE World Heavyweight Championship reign — and he closed WCW's history as its final World Heavyweight and United States champion under the WCW banner, the second African American WCW world champion after Ron Simmons. WWE has inducted him into its Hall of Fame twice: individually in 2013 and with Harlem Heat in 2019.

Notes

Firsts disposition: ASSERTED as sourced: second African American WCW world champion (after Simmons); most decorated wrestler in WCW history (WWE's count, 21 titles); two-time Hall of Fame inductee (2013 solo; 2019 Harlem Heat). Birthplace NOT asserted (Houston vs. Plain Dealing conflict). Photo: CLEARED — 'Booker T 2018.jpg' (Super Festivals), CC BY 2.0 per Commons API extmetadata. Curator's Judgment (DRAFT): WCW's most decorated performer and its closing champion; the Harlem Heat record is stated as tag-team title history, with his brother's absence from this packet noted on the blocked list rather than papered over. Staged 2026-11-03 in packet W (professional wrestling), temp id — merge assigns the next sequential CTL-E id. No CTL-SPE roster id exists for professional wrestling — the AAES roster's wrestling shelf holds only Olympic wrestling and Bobo Brazil (CTL-E-6902). See the packet memo's roster-addition proposal.
