Combined Graph record U-07860 · provenance: build store (JSON graph), record CTL-E-6988.

Carlene Denise Moore-Begnaud (born August 27 in New Orleans, Louisiana; published birth years conflict — see the notes), billed as Jazz, was trained by Rod Price and wrestled her debut match in 1998 against her inspiration, Jacqueline Moore — a different wrestler with a similar name, to whom she is not related. In ECW (1999–2000) she served as the Impact Players' enforcer before joining WWE, where her title history records two Women's Championship reigns, both in matches against Trish Stratus; she was the last woman to hold that championship under the WWF banner and the first under the WWE banner. Her longest reign came in the NWA, where she held the NWA World Women's Championship from 2016 to 2019 — a reign of 948 days. She retired from in-ring competition on April 10, 2021. Begnaud is her married name, from her marriage to wrestler Rodney Mack.

Notes

Firsts disposition: No headline first asserted; the last-WWF/first-WWE championship-bearer nuance rests on a single source (Wikipedia) and is carried in the description as title-history sequence, not as a first. Birth YEAR withheld: sources conflict (1972 IMDb/TMDB; 1973 Wikipedia/SmackDown Hotel; 1976 a legacy profile) — August 27 and New Orleans are the agreed facts. Photo: CLEARED — 'Jazz in 2019.jpg' (Brandon Oliver), CC BY 2.0 per Commons API extmetadata. Curator's Judgment (DRAFT): A two-era women's champion whose identity record is kept rigorously separate from Jacqueline Moore's — different birth name, city, generation, and promotions — with the shared surname explained as coincidence plus a married name. Staged 2026-11-03 in packet W (professional wrestling), temp id — merge assigns the next sequential CTL-E id. No CTL-SPE roster id exists for professional wrestling — the AAES roster's wrestling shelf holds only Olympic wrestling and Bobo Brazil (CTL-E-6902). See the packet memo's roster-addition proposal.
