Lucia Frederica Rijker, born December 6, 1967, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is a Dutch former professional boxer and kickboxer — her nationality is Dutch, stated plainly. The International Boxing Hall of Fame records that she posted an undefeated kickboxing record before moving to Los Angeles in 1994 to pursue boxing, made her professional boxing debut in 1996, and over the following eight years went undefeated at 17–0 with 14 knockouts, capturing the WIBF super lightweight title in 1997 and the IBO super lightweight title in 1998; the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame gives her kickboxing mark as 36–0 with 25 knockouts and four world titles, while the IBHOF's own induction program gives 37–0 — the kickboxing total is carried here in both attributed forms, never blended. Nicknamed 'The Dutch Destroyer' and called 'the most dangerous woman in the world,' she played the boxer Billie 'The Blue Bear' in the Academy Award-winning film Million Dollar Baby, as the Hall records. She was inducted into the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame in its inaugural class of 2014 and into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2020 as one of its first three female boxers.

Notes

Sports Encyclopedia roster CTL-SPE-0504. Identity, stated plainly: this record is Lucia Frederica Rijker of Amsterdam, Netherlands — a Dutch fighter; she is not an American boxer and no Chicago connection is documented. Contested disposition — kickboxing record: the IBHOF 2020 induction program states 37-0, the IWBHF states 36-0 (25 KO) with four world titles, and other tallies circulate (35-0-1, 37-0-1); the description carries the two Hall forms side by side, attributed, and no single blended total is asserted. Her professional boxing record is not contested: 17-0 (14 KOs) in both Hall accounts. Firsts disposition: among the first three female boxers inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame (2020, with Barbara Buttrick and Christy Martin), as the Hall states it. Curator's Judgment (DRAFT): Rijker's record is the cleanest dominance claim in early women's boxing — undefeated in two sports — and the graph's value is in keeping the kickboxing arithmetic honest rather than repeating the largest number.
