Evidence note (master store)

The Mississippi Blues Trail's 'Documenting the Blues' marker states that Living Blues, 'the first American magazine dedicated exclusively to the blues, was founded in 1970 by seven young enthusiasts in Chicago,' and that the University of Mississippi's Center for the Study of Southern Culture acquired it from its Chicago founders in 1983 and has published it since (fetched in full 2026-10-17).
