Evidence note (master store)

Bassist Dave Myers, who with his brother Louis Myers and their friend Fred Below formed the Aces (the Three Aces), one of Chicago's premier blues combos of the early 1950s; the Myers brothers moved to Chicago in 1941 and Dave later switched to electric bass; the Aces first recorded in 1952 backing Little Walter for Checker, a Chess subsidiary; died September 3, 2001 (Blues Foundation Hall of Fame biography of the Aces).
