Evidence note (master store)

The Masonic Temple Building existed as a high-rise building in Chicago's Loop, constructed in 1891-1892 at the corner of Randolph and State Streets, designed by Burnham and Root, rising 21 stories and reaching a height of 302 feet. The source states it was the city's tallest building from 1895 to 1899, taking the title when the original Board of Trade Building's clock tower was removed and losing it to the Montgomery Ward Building, and that it was demolished in 1939 (fetched in full 2026-10-17)
