Evidence note (master store)
Pew Research Center (Jan 10, 2024; page updated Apr 23, 2025): Black eligible voters were projected to reach 34.4 million in November 2024, up 7.1% from 2020; Black Americans were projected to be 14.0% of all U.S. eligible voters in 2024 (13.5% in 2020; 13.2% in 2012). Eligible voters are citizens age 18+ in the 50 states and DC. Black eligible voters' turnout rates have been higher than those of Latino and Asian eligible voters, and in Georgia Black Americans account for one-third of eligible voters. This is a general subject, not a CTL taxonomy lane; the stored note ('Black voting power, turnout, and electoral influence as a subject area') matches the source's treatment.
