Evidence note (master store)

Eli's Cheesecake's own site (tier 2, published July 28, 2022): in 1980 Eli Schulman declared cheesecake the signature dessert at his Chicago steakhouse, Eli's The Place For Steak; his fast, hot baking method created 'Chicago style' cheesecake, which made its public debut at the first Taste of Chicago on July 4, 1980; Eli's is 'frequently referred to as a Chicago food icon,' and all Eli's desserts are handmade in Chicago. Supports the stored note, 'Chicago cheesecake brand.'
