Mondaq/GALA legal analysis of Jackson v. Robinhood (fetched in full): in 1992 Ice Cube released 'Check Yo Self,' which featured the line 'check yo self before you wreck yo self'; per Ice Cube's federal complaint the phrase 'Check Yo Self' became his 'signature catchphrase,' and Robinhood's 2021 newsletter paraphrase 'Correct yourself before you wreck yourself' was an obvious play on those lyrics.
