Annual traveling fashion show created in Chicago in 1958 by Eunice Walker Johnson; became the world's largest traveling fashion show, exposing Black audiences — especially in segregated cities — to haute couture while platforming Black models and designers and raising millions for Black charities. Founder of Fashion Fair Cosmetics (1972).
