John W. Moutoussamy

Moutoussamy, the first African American partner in a large Chicago architectural firm, designed the Johnson Publishing Company Building at 820 S. Michigan (built 1969-1971, dedicated May 16, 1972) — the City of Chicago's framing of it as the first and only downtown structure built by an African American.
