Angela Yee (born January 3, 1976, in Brooklyn, New York) is an American radio personality and entrepreneur. Raised in Flatbush and educated at Wesleyan University, where she graduated with an English degree in 1997, she moved from artist management at Wu-Tang Management and a post at Eminem's Shady Limited into broadcasting as a co-host on Sirius XM's Shade 45 in 2005. In 2010 she became a founding co-host — with DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God — of Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club (CTL-E-5207), the nationally syndicated morning show inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2020, where her 'Rumor Report' and 'Ask Yee' segments ran for twelve years. She left in 2022 to host her own nationally syndicated midday show, Way Up with Angela Yee (CTL-E-5595), distributed by iHeartMedia, while continuing her Lip Service podcast (launched 2015), Brooklyn businesses including the Coffee Uplifts People coffee brand, and service as the New York Public Library's first-ever ambassador.
