Paul George (born Paul Clifton Anthony George, May 2, 1990, in Palmdale, California) is an American professional basketball player, a nine-time NBA All-Star considered among the defining two-way wings of his generation. After two seasons at Fresno State he was drafted 10th overall by the Indiana Pacers in 2010, won the NBA's Most Improved Player award in 2013, and recovered from a severe leg fracture to reach All-NBA First Team level in 2019 with the Oklahoma City Thunder; he later played five seasons for the Los Angeles Clippers before joining the Philadelphia 76ers in 2024. Since 2023 he has hosted Podcast P, the interview show produced with Wave Sports + Entertainment whose record (CTL-E-5596) this graph minted from CultureTechLens Short #84 — a show record that has waited three waves for its host. None of George's four NBA teams yet holds a graph record, so he stages as a documented near-orphan: the host edge itself remains a schema question (see the packet's Gate D table), and his team edges are named, sourced gaps rather than approximations.

Notes

STAGED 2026-10-16 (747 Program, Priority Gaps — Wave 5) — not merged; awaits founder merge go. Gate A: no PERSON match in the live graph (3,381 entities) under exact, normalized, alias, or token-containment screening, 2026-10-16; token hits were his show's record (CTL-E-5596) and unrelated Georges (George Mikan CTL-E-5543 among them — screened and rejected as a different person). Vital status: LIVING — an active NBA player and podcast host at staging (2025–26 season). Edges: NONE staged, deliberately. His played_for / drafted_by edges have no endpoints (the graph holds no Pacers, Thunder, Clippers or 76ers organization — verified by direct search in this pass), and the Podcast P host edge has no schema type (produced_by belongs to Wave Sports + Entertainment, itself still a gap). He stages as a documented orphan-with-named-gaps on the Wave 1 Finley precedent — the packet's Gate D table carries the host-type item, now with both endpoints in existence. Single-source flag: the January 2026 suspension item in the facts rests on one consulted report (KnowInsiders, February 2026) and George's statement as quoted there; it is attributed at the claim and flagged here rather than blended into the description. Name form: sources divide between 'Paul Clifton Anthony George' and '…George Jr.'; the record carries the shorter form as canonical with the full name as alias. Project ID: PPL-001 per wave precedent (staged 'CULTGRAPH' ID is not registered). MEDIA LAYER (staged 2026-10-16; full per-asset PHOTO-001 records + embed specs in the packet's staged JSON, Drive packet folder): map = N/A (Person records carry no map slot under the media-layer rule; maps attach to places and institutions.) | visual_assets = HELD: No file-page-level PHOTO-001 license verification completed at staging; slot held rather than filled with an u | chart = FILLED (CTL-created SVG built only from this record's sourced facts and statistics; CTL-branded palette (black / deep ) | video = HELD (The Shorts Link Map catalog row for Short #84 bills the show under the title 'Podcast P' only — no catalog row) | audio = HELD (No CTL-owned or rights-cleared matching-entity audio exists at staging; Podcast P's program audio is Wave Spor)
