Ja'Marr Chase, born Ja'Marr Anthony Chase on 1 March 2000 in Harvey, Louisiana, is an American professional football wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. At LSU he was Joe Burrow's leading target on the 2019 national-championship team, winning the Fred Biletnikoff Award as the nation's top receiver that season before opting out of 2020. Cincinnati drafted him fifth overall in 2021, reuniting him with Burrow. He set the rookie single-game receiving record, won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and reached Super Bowl LVI in his first season. After Pro Bowl seasons that established him among the league's elite, in 2024 he won the receiving triple crown — leading the NFL in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns — only the fifth player in the Super Bowl era to do so. He followed it with another First-team All-Pro season in 2025 and remained Cincinnati's No. 1 receiver in October 2026, scoring in the Bengals' Week 5 win at Miami.
