Christopher Livingstone Eubank, born 8 August 1966 in Dulwich, London, is a British former professional boxer, usually styled Chris Eubank Sr. since his son Chris Eubank Jr. became a leading fighter. Raised partly in Jamaica and in Peckham, and sent at sixteen to live in New York, where he took up boxing, Eubank turned professional in 1985 in Atlantic City. He won the WBO middleweight title by stopping Nigel Benn in November 1990, beginning one of British boxing's fiercest rivalries, and then held the WBO super-middleweight title from 1991 to 1995, reigning as a world champion for more than five years in total. Famous for his monocle, cane, diction and showmanship as much as for his durability, he finished his career in 1998 with a record of 45 wins, 5 losses and 2 draws. In 2025 he was reconciled publicly with his son at the two Eubank-Benn family fights, appearing at the November rematch.

Notes
Staged 2026-10-16 under CTL-GOV-006 (Census Intake Wave 5 — 747 Program, Wave 11; 40-record packet). Gate A (2026-10-16): no Chris Eubank entity in the live graph at 3,763 entities (exact / normalized / alias + token containment); ID CTL-E-6048 assigned at assembly. Supply: 747 Supply Ledger, Tier 3 — Famous Birthdays ABSENT census, readiness rank 1218 (Boxers list). The census supplied the NAME ONLY; no fact in this record is sourced to it (CTL-GOV-004). SCOPE GATE: PASS — Black British boxer of the London / Jamaican-raised generation; two-weight WBO world champion. IDENTITY RESOLUTION: the census row reads only 'Chris Eubank'; the row denotes the father, Christopher Livingstone Eubank (b. 1966) — the Famous Birthdays boxer profile for this name is the 1966-born two-weight champion, reference sources style him 'Chris Eubank Sr.' precisely to distinguish him from his son, and his career (1985–1998) is the canon record the census ranks. Chris Eubank Jr. (b. 1989), also a professional boxer, is a separate future candidate and is NOT the subject of this record. Vital status: LIVING — appeared with his son at the November 2025 Eubank–Benn rematch events (Sky Sports) and was confirmed as attending in The Ring's report updated 30 Jan 2026. STATISTICS (sourced, dated): Professional record 45-5-2, 23 KOs (Wikipedia / BoxRec line); WBO middleweight champion 1990–1991 and WBO super-middleweight champion 1991–1995 (Wikipedia). MEDIA: photo HELD (candidate: Wikimedia Commons photograph of Chris Eubank in 2005; no file page was read at file-page level in this pass, so no image is cleared — CTL-PHOTO-001; a CTL-created graphic is the standing alternative); chart FILLED (charts/chart-temp-1218-chris-eubank.svg); video HELD (Shorts Link Map checked by name and variants — no matching-entity CTL Short); audio HELD (no rights basis). MEDIA LAYER (staged 2026-10-16; full per-asset PHOTO-001 records + embed specs in the packet's staged JSON, Drive packet folder): map = N/A (Person records carry no map slot under the media-layer rule; maps attach to places and institutions.) | visual_assets = HELD: | chart = FILLED (CTL-created SVG (black / deep red / gold) built only from this record's sourced facts) | video = HELD (No matching-entity CTL Short in the Shorts Link Map catalog (checked by name and variants), and no official/em) | audio = HELD (No CTL-owned or rights-cleared matching-entity audio at staging.)
