Anthony White (born April 23, 1954, in Roanoke, Virginia), billed as Tony Atlas and “Mr. USA,” crossed into wrestling from bodybuilding and powerlifting, where WWE credits him with three Mr. USA titles. Trained by Larry Sharpe and debuting in 1974, he became one of the strongest-drawing Black stars of the late territory era. WWE's tag team title history records the November 15, 1983 entry in which Atlas and Rocky Johnson, as The Soul Patrol, took the WWF Tag Team Championship in the title match against the Wild Samoans — the first Black world tag team championship team in WWE history. Atlas later returned to the WWF in 1990 under the Saba Simba character, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006, and remained a fixture of independent wrestling and convention appearances for decades afterward.

Staged 2026-11-03 in packet W (professional wrestling), temp id — merge assigns the next sequential CTL-E id. No CTL-SPE roster id exists for professional wrestling — the AAES roster's wrestling shelf holds only Olympic wrestling and Bobo Brazil (CTL-E-6902). See the packet memo's roster-addition proposal.
