Jacqueline 'Jacqui' Frazier-Lyde, born December 2, 1961, is an American lawyer, judge and former professional boxer, and the daughter of former world heavyweight champion Joe Frazier. She earned her law degree at Villanova University, practiced law and opened her own firm, as Encyclopedia.com records. At age 38 she turned to boxing, debuting on February 6, 2000, with a first-round knockout of Teela Reese. On June 8, 2001, she and Laila Ali headlined the first pay-per-view card ever topped by women — a bout billed 'Ali–Frazier IV' after their fathers' trilogy — and Ali won by majority decision (79–73, 77–75, 76–76), the only loss of Frazier-Lyde's career. On December 14, 2001, she stopped Suzette Taylor in four rounds to win the WIBA light heavyweight title, making Joe and Jacqui, as contemporary accounts state, the first father-daughter world champions in boxing; she added WIBF and GBU super middleweight titles in 2002 and the UBA heavyweight title in 2004, retiring at 13–1 with 9 knockouts, per the Pennsylvania Boxing Hall of Fame. In 2008 she was elected a Philadelphia municipal court judge. She was inducted into the International Women's Boxing Hall of Fame in the class listed as 2024.

Notes

Sports Encyclopedia roster CTL-SPE-0505. Relationship disposition: child_of edge to Joe Frazier (CTL-E-6005) EMITTED — schema.json admits child_of Person→Person, and parentage is documented by the Pennsylvania Boxing Hall of Fame and Encyclopedia.com. No fact of Joe Frazier's own career is borrowed into this record beyond that relationship and the sourced father-daughter title first. Firsts disposition: the December 14, 2001 WIBA title is carried with its contemporary framing — Joe and Jacqui as the first father-daughter world champions in boxing — attributed, not asserted as a standing CTL finding. Contested disposition — hall induction year: WomenBoxing.com reports an IWBHF induction ceremony on October 7, 2023, in Las Vegas, while the class is listed as 2024; the description uses the class year and this note keeps the ceremony date with its source. Record shape: 13-1 (9 KOs) with one additional no-contest bout in the full table, as the record sources state it. Curator's Judgment (DRAFT): Frazier-Lyde's significance is double — a working lawyer and later judge who started at 38 and still won titles in three divisions, in the most famous surname bout women's boxing had staged. Photo: HELD — no Commons file depicts Jacqui Frazier-Lyde herself; photographs of her father were rejected under the depict-the-subject rule.
