Evidence note (master store)
The NAACP's own official history page (tier 2) states: 'On February 12, 1909, the nation's largest and most widely recognized civil rights organization was born,' that the call for its founding was signed by some 60 people including W. E. B. Du Bois, Ida B. Wells-Barnett, and Mary Church Terrell, and that its national office was established in New York City in 1910 — establishing the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) as a civil rights organization founded in 1909, matching the stored founding year. A second fetched official NAACP page (its 55th Image Awards release, naacp.org, 2024) establishes that the NAACP presents the NAACP Image Awards, matching the stored note's Image Awards claim. The stored 'oldest' wording and the Baltimore headquarters are NOT stated in the fetched official text and are not stamped (see conflicts). (fetched in full 2026-10-17)
