Evidence note (master store)

The venue's own official site (tier 2) describes The Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia Ave., Chicago, as 'one of Chicago's most storied independent music venues and community gathering spaces,' and states that Tim and Katie Tuten and partners Mike and Jim Hinchsliff bought The Hideout in 1996 (2026 marks the 30th anniversary under that ownership); the same announcement states ownership has now been transferred to Teri O'Brien and that regular programming continues. Does NOT cover: the stored 'Bucktown' descriptor (the page situates the building in the industrial North Branch / Elston corridor). (fetched in full 2026-10-17)
