Beatdown House

In 1998 DJ Clent formed the Beatdown House crew of like-minded producers — DJ Spinn, DJ Rashad, RP Boo, DJ C-Bit, Majik Myke and others — from whom footwork originated; the crew consciously tried to distance itself from the 'juke' label.
