Antonio Brown, born Antonio Tavaris Brown Sr. on 10 July 1988 in Miami, Florida, is a retired American professional football wide receiver. Raised in Miami's Liberty City and a walk-on turned All-American punt returner at Central Michigan, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round in 2010. In Pittsburgh he became the league's most productive receiver of the 2010s: seven Pro Bowls, four straight First-team All-Pro selections, league leads in receptions and receiving yards, and more receptions than any other player across 2010–2018. His Steelers tenure ended in a trade in 2019; he never played a regular-season game for Oakland, played one game for New England, then joined Tampa Bay, catching a touchdown in Super Bowl LV. His career effectively ended in January 2022, when he left the field mid-game for Tampa Bay and was released. Off-field legal matters, addressed in one neutral line in the notes, have continued after his playing career.
